Immediate opening: we are hiring a moulder in Gashaka, Taraba State. You will be based at a brass and bronze foundry. You should have: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts Day-to-day duties: • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture 5+ years on the tools preferred.
