Great opportunity: hoist operator (Tennessee)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a hoist operator in Grainger County, Tennessee. On a typical shift you will set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground; watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity; fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports; keep a safe distance from overhead power lines; grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands; rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams. What we are looking for: • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • Current medical and eyesight certificate At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. $4,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
