Port container crane operator — Aba North

We are recruiting: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Aba North, Abia State. You will work in a steel fabrication workshop. On a typical shift you will follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger; set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground; help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone; hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control; watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity; climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins. Ideal candidate: • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • Current medical and eyesight certificate At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
