Furniture maker • Taylor County, Texas

Vacancy available: we are hiring a furniture maker in Taylor County, Texas. You will work on a residential housebuilding project. Ideal candidate: • CSCS card for site-based work an advantage • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings • At least 2 years' hands-on carpentry experience Your main tasks: • Cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw • Hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles • Install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails • Fix studwork and plasterboard partitions • Build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions Rotating shifts. We offer $180 per day plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
