Captain waiter — Middlesex County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a captain waiter in Middlesex County, Virginia. The job is in a quick-service restaurant. What we are looking for: • Basic numeracy for handling cash, bills and change • Familiarity with POS billing and order-taking systems • Smart, well-groomed appearance and a clean uniform On the job you will handle: • Take food and drink orders on the POS terminal or order pad • Carry loaded trays and serve plated dishes to the right table • Coordinate order timing with the kitchen and the bar • Punch orders through to the kitchen as a KOT (kitchen order ticket) • Raise the bill on the POS and settle cash and card payments • Clear and reset tables between covers At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. $27 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
