Immediate opening: we are hiring an abattoir worker in Imeko Afon, Ogun State. The job is in a supermarket meat department. The role involves debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife; keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled; keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools; break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts; weigh, price and label cuts for the display case. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required Overtime paid at a premium rate.
