Articulated lorry driver • Nafada, Gombe State

Immediate opening: we are hiring an articulated lorry driver in Nafada, Gombe State. You will be based at a haulage company. Ideal candidate: • Valid HGV/LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence • Willing to take on night and multi-day trips • Current Driver CPC qualification card On a typical shift you will log working hours on the tachograph and swap driver cards; reverse and carry out blind-side manoeuvres at loading bays; present documents at weighbridges and check posts; complete delivery notes, CMR paperwork and proof-of-delivery; keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load; carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
