Vacancy available: we are hiring an aluminium TIG welder in Iguegben, Edo. You will be based at a busy fabrication workshop. Requirements: • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection On the job you will handle: • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool We offer ₦1,000 per hour plus benefits.
