Core maker wanted in Willacy County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a core maker in Willacy County, Texas. The job is in the fettling and dressing shop. Day to day you will carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts.
