Ideal candidate: • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • 2+ years on RCC and formwork on building or infrastructure sites • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking Your main tasks: • Read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters • Erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb • Fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure • Set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking 5+ years on the tools preferred.
