Great opportunity: we are hiring a butcher in Augie, Kebbi State. You will be based at a halal meat counter. You should have: • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry The role involves: • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools Full-time, day shift.
