Garden maintenance worker — Thayer County

Now hiring: we are hiring a garden maintenance worker in Thayer County, Nebraska. You will be based in a botanical garden. You should have: • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors On the job you will handle: • Apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds • Weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe • Cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs • Operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters • Mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers • Maintain compost heaps and the potting shed At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Meals and transport allowance provided. We offer $2,600 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
