Shakeout operator wanted in Wayne County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a shakeout operator in Wayne County, Utah. You will work in the fettling and dressing shop. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings Your main tasks: • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around $5,100 per month, based on your experience. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
