Vacancy available: counter butcher (Michigan)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a counter butcher in Mason County, Michigan. You will be based in a meat processing plant. On the job you will handle: • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking • Mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder Requirements: • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate Rotating shifts. $5,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
