Great opportunity: we are hiring a trainee butcher in Karaye, Kano State. You will work at a busy retail butcher's shop. On a typical shift you will break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts; sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts; weigh, price and label cuts for the display case. You should have: • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day Full-time, day shift.
