Plasterer — Delta County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a plasterer in Delta County, Texas. You will be based in a refurbishment property. You will tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler; apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls; apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat; polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush; skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration; float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge. You should have: • Able to read drawings and set out work to a deadline • Knowledge of different plasters, renders and bonding agents • Good head for heights for ceiling and stairwell work Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
