Now hiring: we are hiring a gardener in Bacon County, Georgia. On a typical shift you will apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds; spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease; repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings; dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds; plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings; water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines. Requirements: • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • Valid driving licence for travel between sites • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors Rotating shifts.
