Now hiring: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Mashegu, Niger State. The job is at a power plant. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather On the job you will handle: • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Pay around ₦6,500 per day, based on your experience. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
