Wood machinist wanted in Cloud County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a wood machinist in Cloud County, Kansas. You will work at a kitchen and furniture manufacturer. Ideal candidate: • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists On the job you will handle: • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet • Hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles • Lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring • Measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. We offer $180 per day plus benefits. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
