We are recruiting: foundry labourer (Imo State)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a foundry labourer in Mbatoli, Imo State. You will be based in the fettling and dressing shop. Day-to-day duties: • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle You should have: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
