We are recruiting: we are hiring a confectioner in Cass County, Missouri. You will be based at a café with an on-site bakery. On a typical shift you will shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand; keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards; proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them; score the top of loaves before baking; roll out short-crust and biscuit dough; weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe.
