Immediate opening: we are hiring a plant operator in Hamilton County, Ohio. The job is at a road and highway construction project. Day to day you will inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up; keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly; carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels; work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter; lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains; backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers. You should have: • Reliable, punctual and able to get to site • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control We offer $5,000 per month plus benefits. Overtime paid at a premium rate.
