Join our team: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Ngor-Okpala, Imo State. The job is at a power plant. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket Day to day you will calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear. ₦230,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
