Vacancy available: we are hiring an excavator operator in Kankakee County, Illinois. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control • Sound understanding of daily maintenance and greasing The role involves: • Work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter • Excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs • Lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains • Inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up 1+ years on the tools preferred.
