Requirements: • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases On a typical shift you will press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; give each garment a final press before packing; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press.
