Immediate opening: hoist operator (Kano State)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a hoist operator in Gwale, Kano State. You will work on a high-rise tower crane. Requirements: • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts Day-to-day duties: • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
