Finishing presser • Jada, Adamawa State

Great opportunity: we are hiring a finishing presser in Jada, Adamawa State. The role involves: • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment ₦70,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
