Garden maintenance worker • Deschutes County, Oregon

Immediate opening: we are hiring a garden maintenance worker in Deschutes County, Oregon. The job is at a landscaping company. Ideal candidate: • Valid driving licence for travel between sites • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules The role involves: • Cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs • Repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings • Check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads • Apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds • Spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease 1+ years on the tools preferred.
