We are recruiting: ironing operator (England)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an ironing operator in Wolverhampton, England. The job is in a garment export house. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets On a typical shift you will set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board. 2+ years on the tools preferred. £2,550 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
