Immediate opening: we are hiring a pressman in Ikono, Akwa Ibom State. You should have: • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases The role involves: • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Give each garment a final press before packing • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
