Shuttering carpenter — Teungo

Join our team: we are hiring a shuttering carpenter in Teungo, Adamawa State. The job is at a kitchen and furniture manufacturer. On the job you will handle: • Read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists • Plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet • Cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw • Assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops • Apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board What we are looking for: • Good eye for detail and a clean finish • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings • At least 2 years' hands-on carpentry experience ₦1,200 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
