Rough terrain crane operator wanted in Calhoun County

Now hiring: we are hiring a rough terrain crane operator in Calhoun County, Alabama. You will work on a high-rise tower crane. Requirements: • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination On a typical shift you will keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL); rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; work out the load weight and the lifting radius; climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins; read and interpret the load chart before every lift; fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports. Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. We offer $3,800 per month plus benefits.
