Great opportunity: we are hiring a flat roof installer in Stephens County, Texas. The job is at a roofing and cladding contractor. Your main tasks: • Set out battens to the correct gauge and spacing • Fit valley gutters, fascias and soffits • Nail down asphalt shingles in staggered courses • Install metal flashing around chimneys and skylights • Torch on bitumen membrane across flat roofs Requirements: • Able to read roof pitch and set the falls • Strong enough to lift tile packs and felt rolls all day • A good head for heights and steady balance Part-time with flexible hours.
