Join our team: we are hiring an argon welding operator in Bekwarra, Cross River State. You should have: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Able to pass a weld test on the spot The role involves: • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size 1+ years on the tools preferred.
