Foundry worker • Moore County, Texas

Join our team: we are hiring a foundry worker in Moore County, Texas. You will be based at a brass and bronze foundry. Your main tasks: • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together What we are looking for: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards Part-time with flexible hours.
