Immediate opening: we are hiring a head butcher in Terrell County, Georgia. You will be based at a wholesale meat market. What we are looking for: • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required On a typical shift you will keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled; portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights; run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone; weigh, price and label cuts for the display case; stuff and link fresh sausages with casings. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. $4,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
