Marble fitter • Jackson County, Illinois

We are recruiting: we are hiring a marble fitter in Jackson County, Illinois. The job is at a kitchen worktop showroom. On a typical shift you will shape edges, bullnoses and bevels with an angle grinder and profiling wheels; seal natural stone against staining with impregnating sealers; cut out sink and hob openings in worktops on site; lift and handle heavy slabs safely using suction lifters and trolleys; fill cracks, chips and open veins with colour-matched epoxy resin; work from cutting lists and installation drawings. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of epoxy resin filling and colour matching • 2+ years' experience working with marble, granite and natural stone • Able to read measurements, templates and cutting lists Rotating shifts.
