Mosaic tiler • Sumter County, Florida

We are recruiting: we are hiring a mosaic tiler in Sumter County, Florida. The job is on a new-build housing development. The role involves: • Screed and prepare uneven floors before tiling • Set out the tile layout and snap reference lines with a chalk line • Fit tile spacers to keep the grout joints even • Apply a waterproofing membrane in showers and wet areas • Cut ceramic and porcelain tiles on a manual tile cutter • Fit skirting tiles, step nosings and external corner trims You should have: • Own a basic set of tiling tools (trowels, spacers, levels) • Familiar with porcelain, ceramic, mosaic and natural stone • Physically fit for kneeling, bending and lifting tile boxes 4+ years on the tools preferred.
