Immediate opening: heavy goods vehicle driver (Sokoto State)

Join our team: we are hiring a heavy goods vehicle driver in Illela, Sokoto State. You will be based at a container freight yard. Day-to-day duties: • Check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits • Secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars • Carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off • Complete delivery notes, CMR paperwork and proof-of-delivery • Present documents at weighbridges and check posts Ideal candidate: • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules • Willing to take on night and multi-day trips At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
