Immediate opening: we are hiring a canteen cook in Pulaski County, Georgia. You will be based in a catering banquet kitchen. Ideal candidate: • Able to read and follow recipes and dockets • Able to stand for long shifts and work in heat On the job you will handle: • Prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch • Label and date all prepped ingredients in the walk-in • Plate and garnish dishes for a quick pass to service • Manage the tandoor and skewer kebabs • Check deliveries and rotate stock using FIFO • Knead dough and bake breads such as roti, naan and paratha Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
