Horticulturist — Damboa

Great opportunity: we are hiring a horticulturist in Damboa, Borno State. The job is in a residential garden complex. Day to day you will spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease; lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn; sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades; mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers. Requirements: • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules • An eye for detail and a tidy, well-kept finish 4+ years on the tools preferred. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
