We are recruiting: we are hiring an ironing operator in Udi, Enugu State. You will work in a busy laundry. Requirements: • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings On the job you will handle: • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
