Vertical milling machine operator • Mashegu, Niger State

Join our team: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Mashegu, Niger State. You will be based in a toolroom. Requirements: • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces The role involves: • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
