Immediate opening: cnc turning machinist (Georgia)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a cnc turning machinist in Oconee County, Georgia. You will be based at an auto-components manufacturing unit. Requirements: • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred Your main tasks: • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Write and edit G-code programs at the control • Read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
