Now hiring: estate gardener (Washington)

Immediate opening: we are hiring an estate gardener in Douglas County, Washington. The job is at a landscaping company. On the job you will handle: • Cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs • Spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease • Apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds • Plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings • Maintain compost heaps and the potting shed • Prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers What we are looking for: • Valid driving licence for travel between sites • An eye for detail and a tidy, well-kept finish • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage Full-time, day shift.
