Shuttering charge hand wanted in Jackson County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a shuttering charge hand in Jackson County, Ohio. You will cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs; watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement; erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb; read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters; fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure. What we are looking for: • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • Able to read formwork and structural drawings • Skilled with circular saw, hand tools and spirit level 6+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. $3,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
