We are recruiting: fettler (Kogi State)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a fettler in Ijumu, Kogi State. You will work in a non-ferrous casting shop. The role involves: • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle You should have: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
