Immediate opening: deboner (Kentucky)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a deboner in Letcher County, Kentucky. Day to day you will portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights; stuff and link fresh sausages with casings; weigh, price and label cuts for the display case; sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools; debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife. You should have: • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling Full-time, day shift.
