Counter butcher wanted in Sumner County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a counter butcher in Sumner County, Kansas. The role involves: • Take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking • Keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date You should have: • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
