Pressman — Hillsborough County

Join our team: we are hiring a pressman in Hillsborough County, Florida. The job is at a dry cleaner's. Your main tasks: • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron What we are looking for: • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
